John is currently a Sr. Investigator with American Insurance Group (AIG) since 2013. He grew up in Birmingham, Alabama, and moved to Montgomery in 1985 to follow his dream of being a police officer. He was promoted to detective in 1988 and spent most of his career in the detective division of the Montgomery Police Department. John helped start the white collar crime unit for the Police Department. In 1996 he was promoted to sergeant and spent the last year in Accident Investigation. In 1997 he went to work for Progressive Insurance Company as a special investigator and for the next 16 years worked insurance fraud cases. He was the first insurance investigators to get a conviction under the Alabama Insurance Fraud Act. He became the chaplain for the Wetumpka Police Department in 2009. He is also the assistant chief with the Emerald Mountain Volunteer Fire Department since 2008, and serves as the chaplain for the Elmore Country Fire Fighter Association. He has attended Jefferson State College, Alabama State, and Troy University in Montgomery. John counts his family as one of his biggest blessings; his beautiful wife, Angie, to whom he has been married for sixteen years, and his two grown children, Ashlee and David, and his grandson Eliajah.
